AJ is a military vet--structured & driven--making him highly valued in his career in I.T. and business.  I’m Ruthie, a healthcare professional and self-proclaimed artist.  I’d like to think I’m compassionate & creative which are well-suited for my chosen career.  He’s the left side of the brain while I’m the right (note to husband: I’m right again     ).  And just like the brain, no matter how different the 2 sides are, we work amazingly well together.  No wonder we’ve been married for 20+ years!

We founded Waves Physical Therapy in 2013.  Since we opened our doors, we are often asked about who designed the Waves PT office space.  Well, we did!  Initially it arose out of need.  We had to do the renovations and still have funds for all the equipment and everything needed for a start-up to survive, all on a very tight budget.  We had a very clear vision of what we wanted, in order to get that, we had to put in A LOT of elbow grease.  In the end, we realized that we truly enjoyed the process and the end-product.  We've quietly completed other projects since then.  AJ & I decided to share past & current adventures here at Gentle Rush because maybe, someone else will find it enjoyable.
